FRENCH CREEK THEATRE
French Creek Theatre is Lorain County Metro Parks’ semi-professional, year-round theatre mounting new and classic works, as well as arts-based educational programming, to inspire, enliven and entertain. Located within the French Creek Nature Center in Sheffield Village, French Creek Theatre produces an eclectic and thoughtful season in the unique, 150-seat, wraparound Ewing Theatre. Priding itself on showcasing local talent for Northeast Ohio audiences, French Creek Theatre believes in uniting artist and audience through the mutual struggles, aims and hopes shared via the theatrical experience.
ANNIE JR. - August 1-3 & 8-10
Annie Jr. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
